East End Social ClubThe purpose of the East End Social Club is to promote friendship and social activities among residents of St. Croix. The activities of the club are overseen by a Board of Directors consisting of: the officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer), the immediate past President, and at 8 elected members. The club generally meets every Saturday at 5:00 PM at the Deep End Bar at Tamarind Reef Hotel. These are not formal meetings but social get-togethers where members chat and enjoy visiting with each other for an hour or so. Most get together in various groups and go out for dinner afterward. Several times during the year special parties are planned. We usually have a Valentine Party, something at Easter, one or two beach or pool parties, a “Hurricane Hugo/Marilyn Memorial Party”, etc. Our Christmas Party and our Annual Meeting in January are our most special parties. These are generally held at the St. Croix Yacht Club at a reasonable cost to members. How to JoinTo join the East End Social Club you must be a resident of St. Croix (full or part time), be sponsored by a club member and be passed on by the Board. Initiation Fees are $15 per person / $30 per couple. Annual dues are $20 per person / $40 per couple (pro-rated). |
