Volunteer Exam Information

Amateur radio examinations through the ARRL VEC are held on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John. There are no scheduled times or dates, exams are held on a request basis. The liaison VE on St. Croix is Al Rymsha, NP2V (e-mail alvinr26@gmail.com), the liaison VE on St. John, is Malcolm Preston, NP2L (e-mail np2l@arrl.net) and the liaison VE on St. Thomas is Richard Ashley, NP2RA (email daddad@dos.net). To schedule an exam or to find times and locations where exams are being held, contact the respective liaison VE.

If you are coming in from off-island with the expectation of taking an exam, be sure to bring any CSCE's you may have, two copies of your license, and contact the liaison VE for exact times and dates well before the exam date.
