Locally Run Nets

The Caribbean Maritime Mobile Net meets every morning on or around 7250 KHz at 1100Z. Net control is Lou KV4JC. Assistant net controls include Les N5NG and John NP2B. The purpose of the net is to provide a gathering place for Maritime mobiles on the high seas, in port, and those wishing to contact these folks. There is a link to the Net's website at the bottom of this page. Also, every day except Sunday, at 1115Z, George KP2G provides very comprehensive weather reporting on conditions as far north and west as the Bahamas, east to St. Maartin and Antigua, down the island chain to Venezuela and west through Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba, continuing to the Canal.

Also, at 1040Z (6:40 AM) George KP2G runs a weather net on the St. John repeater (146.63 MHz, minus offset) providing weather for the local area.
